This Infant and Child First Aid course will give you the confidence and practical knowledge to give first aid to your baby and child, for a number of different situations. Whilst we hope you never have to use these skills, accidents and injuries do sometimes happen so it can be helpful for parents, carers and grandparents to be armed with the knowledge to deal calmly in a scenario where first aid is required. Pip of Daisy First Aid will cover topics including when and how to administer CPR for a baby, choking and gagging and how to respond, bumps, burns and how to manage them.

This course is for expectant parents as well as new parents (babies welcome).

This First Aid course will cover:

- CPR

- Choking

- Bumps

- Burns

- Meningitis

- Allergic reactions

- Febrile convulsions

The class will be delivered in a relaxed, comfortable and informal style and will give you the confidence to know what actions to take when faced with a medical emergency. There are no tests and instead lots of chances to ask questions and practice your first aid skills.

Price: £25 per person (£50 per couple). Babies under 12 months are welcome to attend with you for free.

Location: Redland Parish Church Halls, Redland, Bristol BS6 7HE. There is paid parking on nearby streets and space in the hall for buggies.

Refreshments: We will pause for a break half way through for tea and FED cake which are included.
